How to Use This Thread Splitter
Paste or write your long text in the box above. The splitter breaks it into tweets of up to 280 characters, preferring sentence boundaries so no tweet ends mid-thought. A blank line always starts a new tweet, so you control exactly where the thread breaks.
Toggle 1/n numbering so readers can follow along (the numbering's length is reserved automatically — no tweet goes over the limit), and add a 🧵 emoji to the first tweet to signal a thread. Both numbering styles are common on X — at the start ("2/4 …") reads as a label and never blends into your text, while at the end ("… 2/4") is the classic tweetstorm style.
Character counts follow X's rules: links count as 23 characters no matter their length, and most emoji and non-Latin characters count as two.
